The Pwani (Beach) Carry-All Bag  introduces the construction of a bag with a gusset and flap closure.

This was originally featured in the April 2022 – Sew Your Bag box.

It is an adventurous beginner friendly adjustable strap bag which is geared towards a 100% cotton for ease of sewing on a domestic machine.

Skills included are:

• Adding a bottom accent
• Accented strap construction
• Recessed zippered closure
• Internal pockets

Material Required:

• 1 yd cotton (exterior)
• 1 yd waterproof canvas or cotton (interior)
• 1 yd foam
• 1 yd woven interfacing
• 19 -20″ #5 Zipper
• Zipper end
