    The Kijani Simple Pouch introduces zipper installation.  It was designed to compliment the Kijani Crossbody Bag but is perfect all by itself.

    It is a beginner friendly pouch which can be made in any material but is geared towards a 100% cotton for ease of sewing on a domestic machine.

    Skills included are:

    • Using zipper by the yard
    • Zipper tab
    • Fold over zipper end
    • Turning bag through the lining (aka “birthing”)

    Material Required:

    • 1/4 yd cotton (exterior}
    • 1/4 yd cotton (interior)
    • 1/4 woven interfacing
    • 1/4 yd foam
    • 8″zipper

    • 1 1/4 yds cotton (exterior and accents)
    • 1 1/4 yds cotton (interior)
    • 1 3/4 yds woven interfacing
    • 1/2 yd foam (fusible or fusible)
    • Two – 18mm magnetic closures
