The Kijani Simple Pouch introduces zipper installation. It was designed to compliment the Kijani Crossbody Bag but is perfect all by itself.
It is a beginner friendly pouch which can be made in any material but is geared towards a 100% cotton for ease of sewing on a domestic machine.
Skills included are:
- Using zipper by the yard
- Zipper tab
- Fold over zipper end
- Turning bag through the lining (aka “birthing”)
Material Required:
- 1/4 yd cotton (exterior}
- 1/4 yd cotton (interior)
- 1/4 woven interfacing
- 1/4 yd foam
- 8″zipper
