The Ireti Saddlebag  introduces the construction `of a bag with a gusset and flap closure.

This was originally featured in the March 2022 – Sew Your Bag box.

It is an adventurous beginner friendly adjustable strap bag which is geared towards a 100% cotton for ease of sewing on a domestic machine.

Skills included are:

• Bottom/side gusset.
• Internal zipper pocket
• Adjustable strap
• Installing hardware which includes piercing the fabric.

Material Required:

• 1 yd cotton (exterior)
• 1 yd waterproof canvas or cotton (interior)
• 1 yd foam
• 1 yd woven interfacing
• 9 1/2″ #5 Zipper
• Bag closure
• 1″ Hinge Strap Connectors
• 1″ Slide bar
• 1″ Strap End
