It is a beginner friendly backpack which can be made in any material but is geared towards a 100% cotton for ease of sewing on a domestic machine.
Skills included are:
- “Birthing” a bag
- Creating a foam adjustable straps.
- Internal zipper pocket with facing.
- Installing a magnetic closure
Material Required:
- 1 yd cotton (exterior and accents)
- 1 yd cotton (interior)
- 1 yd woven interfacing
- 30″ x 30″ yd foam (fusible or fusible)
- 2 – 1″ Slide Bar or Tri-glide
- 2 – 1″ O or D rings
- 10″ – #3 Zipper
- Double sided tape (optional)
