The Kwanzaa Triangle Clutch introduces a center pocket along with firm stabilization.
This was originally featured in the December 2021 – Sew Your Bag box.
It is a adventurous beginner tote which can be made in any material but is geared towards a 100% cotton for ease of sewing on a domestic machine.
Skills included are:
- “Birthing” a bag through front opening
- Using decovil light or other light stabilizer
- Internal divider pocket attached to the bottom and sides of the bag
- Twist lock … the easy one.
Material Required:
- 1/4 yd cotton (exterior and accents)
- 1/2 yd lining fabric (interior)
- 1/2 yd woven interfacing
- 10″ x 20″ piece of foam (fusible or fusible)
- 1/4 yd Decovil Light or equivalent stabilizer
- Twist lock
- Gusset Clip (optional)
- Swivel Clasp (optional)
