It is a adventurous beginner tote which can be made in any material but is geared towards a 100% cotton for ease of sewing on a domestic machine.
Skills included are:
- Installing wooden handles.
- Creating a drawstring lining
- Adding magnet to secure external pocket
- “Birthing” a bag
Material Required:
- 1 1/4 yds cotton (exterior and accents)
- 1 1/4 yds cotton (interior)
- 1 3/4 yds woven interfacing
- 1/2 yd foam (fusible or fusible)
- Two – 18mm magnetic closures
